One of the greatest compliments to our kennel
is when one of our dogs makes a significant contribution to someone's
life, whether by helping them with livestock, keeping an elderly person
company during long days and nights, or in the case of Hadji and Sam,
helping someone perform the normal daily functions of life that we take
for granted. We are proud that Pincie Creek has two Certified
Assistance Dogs, Hadji (owned by Becca Williams of Troy, Alabama) and Sam (owned by Heidi
Smith of Enterprise, Alabama). Both dogs attend college classes with their owners and are
their constant companions. Becca and Heidi say they couldn't have
made it without their buddies. For more pictures, pedigrees, and
stories about the dogs (including an especially moving one written by
Becca Williams), click on the links below.
From time to time we donate dogs for useful service such as assistance
dogs, search and rescue, companions for troubled children, and drug and
bomb detection. If you know of a needy individual, please have them
contact us.
